I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Trudi Watkins to anyone looking for a qualified real estate agent. In 2013, Trudi helped me buy my first house in Carbondale, Colorado. At the time, the real estate market in the Roaring Fork Valley was very competitive in prices and availability of homes. Trudi was relentless in her search for the right home, and we were successful after only a few weeks. She was organized and knowledgeable about the closing process, and I was thankful to have her experience jumping into my first large real estate transaction. Due to a new job opportunity outside of the Roaring Fork Valley I needed to sell my house, as well as purchase another in the Denver area. Without hesitation I contacted Trudi and within hours she had gathered information on my current house, as well as housing opportunities in the neighborhoods I was interested in in Denver. Not only was Trudi dedicated to selling my house in Carbondale, she also took time out of her busy schedule to drive with me to Denver on several weekends. We must have toured nearly three-dozen houses in Denver, and with her help we settled on a beautiful duplex in the Washington Park area. My house in Carbondale was only on the market for five days before we received and accepted an offer at nearly full-price. I was continually impressed at Trudi’s ability to juggle both contracts and communicate concerns and issues promptly and effectively. The closing in Denver was a continuous stressful back and forth with the seller, and I was impressed how Trudi was able to keep her emotions out of the situation, clearly communicate with the seller’s realtor, and focus on next steps. After a few months, we had successfully closed on the property in Denver and had sold the house in Carbondale, within about two weeks of each other.
