Just a few miles away from Aspen is Snowmass Village, which has been developed well beyond the massive ski area and resort it has been since 1967. Like Aspen, Snowmass Village has also become a popular summer and fall vacation destination for enjoying many outdoor activities, including golf, special festivals for children and adults, an annual hot-air balloon competition and wine-tasting events. On-mountain attractions have expanded to include miles of mountain biking trails, an outdoor climbing wall, an alpine coaster, and a zip-line.

The addition of Base Village in Snowmass has added hundreds of residential units, two hotels, a children’s center, ice rink, many new retails shops, and restaurants . . . with more development to come.
