Who is Trudi Watkins-Johnson?
Clients who have worked with Trudi are all in agreement. When describing her, they use words such as honesty, integrity, fairness, detail-oriented, thorough, authentic, and dedicated. Trudi’s balanced approach in her client relationships is evident in all her transactions. She works as diligently for a client who is looking for a modest condominium or house as she does for a client who is interested in purchasing a multi-million dollar estate. However, that is just a part of Trudi’s story. Her success as a broker, whether representing a seller or a buyer, is well-rooted in her business acumen, her meticulous negotiating skills, and the solid principles by which she lives. To just say Trudi goes the extra distance for her clients is to short-change her. Trudi’s “extra distance” knows no boundaries. She is passionate about finding the right property and negotiating the best deal that fits the needs of her buyers. She is equally ardent about optimally presenting a seller’s property believing that there is only one chance to maximize a first impression to prospective buyers.
Trudi’s experience in real estate and her intimate knowledge of the construction industry, coupled with her determination to facilitate the best possible result for her clients, affords her a keen understanding of the details while never losing sight of the larger picture of every transaction, no matter how complex. Her additional credentials as a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) and as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) are just two examples of the depth of Trudi’s dedication and her desire to excel when it comes to serving her clients.

A native Coloradoan, Trudi was the founder and operator of a whitewater rafting and outfitting business in the late 1970s earning her the distinction of being the first female outfitter in Colorado. Her love of the great outdoors, of animals and wildlife, is an inherent part of who she is. It is no surprise that Trudi focuses her volunteer efforts in assisting people in need. Her favorite local cause is Stepping Stones of the Roaring Fork Valley, a non-profit organization that operates a drop-in center for under served youth.
People who know Trudi recognize that she sets very high standards for herself and she strives to ensure that all her business and personal relationships reflect those standards. Her loyalty and forthrightness are unshakeable, even if those traits might get in the way of pleasing a client at times. You could say that Trudi puts the “real” in real estate. In the end, clients always feel very fortunate to have connected with Trudi and to have experienced the impeccable service her reputation is built upon.
